Mesa Boogie Lone Star 1×12 Tube Combo – Used

The Mesa Lone Star 1×12 combo is a highly versatile 2 channel tube amplifier with some tricks up its sleeve. Taking inspiration from our favorite vintage amplifiers, while adding modern features for a wide range of tones. Channel 1 is a wonderful black face styled voicing with massive headroom, and Channel 2 is a higher gain version of channel 1. At the flick of a switch, it can clone the clean magic of Channel 1 (with an added touch of blues-roots gain) or kick in an additional high-gain amplifier with its own dedicated control.

The Lone Star allows you to assign and configure the 6L6’s to produce either 10 watts of Pure Class A Single-Ended clippability, or 50 or 100 watts of Class AB Push-Pull power PER channel. In addition, a highly flexible spring reverb circuit with two different voicings available at your fingertips.

This amp is in good condition, showing very few signs of wear and operates properly. The original owner modified the amp with a solid-state GU4 substitute in the rectifier tube slot instead of a Diode for better performance.
