The Ampeg VT-40 is a powerful and striking 40 watt amplifier that deliveries Fender like cleans and Marshall like break up. This model is one of the earlier VT-40 amps that features the top loaded control panel. The polarity switch has been swapped out for a Master Volume mod labeled “Attenuator”. The Speaker configuration is 2×10″ JBL Speakers and 2×10″ CTS Speakers. This amp features Sylvania and GE Tubes. It comes with its original footswitch.
This Ampeg is in very good condition. It shows very light wear. There are a few scratches on the control panel and Tolex.
