This guitar comes from Fender’s “American Standard” line of instruments which was on the market from 1986 to 2016 making this one of the last guitars released under this name. The single coil”Fat ’50s” pickups were made for vintage tones in Fender’s Custom Shop. While it’s 9.5″ fretboard radius and Modern “C” neck profile keep it feeling modern. This guitar came stock as a SSS configuration but has been modified to a HSS with a Fender Shawbucker now in the bridge position.
This guitar has come from a non-smoke free home with the case having a lingering smell of tobacco. Cosmetically the guitar is in good condition with a couple of dents in the paint on the back and pick wear on the pickguard.
