The American Vintage Series guitars were created to get back to Fenders roots of instrument craftmanship, and to capture the original tone and feel that they became known for. This guitar was based off of a ’59 Stratocaster, which is a sought-after year for its ’50s-to-60s transitional features. It features a slab rosewood fretboard, a “D” shaped oval neck profile, a 6-point bridge, and 3 vintage accurate single coil pickups that give you the classic Strat sound.
This guitar is in very good condition with a couple of small chips in the finish of the body. There is also a small chip on the front of the headstock near the “Original Contour Body” decal. The back pickguard covering the tremolo is missing.
