The Gretsch G2420 Streamliner Hollow Body Single-Cutfeatures a fully hollow arched maple body,combined with parallel tone bars for heightened tonal depth and structural reinforcement. Paying homage to the 1950s and ’60s, the G2420 revives a model name from that era, with its distinctive single-cutaway design. This designnods to the iconic big-bodied Gretsch guitars of the 1950s, drawing inspiration from models like the G-6120, Anniversary, and Tennessee Rose.

Featuring a comfortable nato “C” shaped neck, the G2420 hosts a 12″-radius laurel fingerboard with pearloid Neo Classic thumbnail inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. It’s also equipped with Gretsch’s own Broad’Tron BT-3S humbuckers, delivering a tone that’s characterized by stronger mids, tight but full lows, and smooth, clear highs. The traditional control layout includes neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, and master volume control, offering simple and intuitive tone shaping.
