2003 Sommatone Roaring 40 1×12 Combo Guitar Amplifier W/ Footswitch – Used

This 2003 Sommatone Roaring 40’s is a hand-built amplifier using point to point wiring with Custom Mercury Transformers with a 1×12″ Eminence Red Coat speaker made in Sommerville, NJ. The roaring 40’s model is a single channel Class A amplifier with blendable bright and normal volume controls and master volume control. This model delivers those chimey Vox cleans at lower volume but crank up the bright and normal volume knobs and you can achieve very thick overdrive similar to the AC50 models from the mid 1960’s.

This 2003 Sommatone roaring 40 amplifier is in very good condition. There is one small tear above the grill near the handle. Tolex is in great shape otherwise.
