Their pedal is based off of the fuzz pedals that you would find in the 60’s using 2N527 and 2N404 germanium transistors. However, the Benson Germanium Fuzz has their automatic thermal technology that keeps the pedal at just the right temperature so you don’t have to worry about where the pedal is in your signal chain. Benson recommends that you have the pedal powered for 2-3 minutes before using so it can properly heat up.
This pedal is in very good condition with some small nicks in the casing and dual-lock velcro on the bottom from the previous owner. The original box and manual are included.
