Born from a collaboration between Dreadbox and software developer Sinevibes, the Typhon packs Dreabox’s ultra-fat analog sound into a portable desktop unit. Besides its small size and welcoming price point, the Typhon is a formidable monophonic synth comprised of two all-analog VCOs, a four-pole resonant lowpass filter, two envelope generators, and analog VCAs. Sinevibes contributes its cutting-edge DSP technology and sound design prowess, equipping it with an expansive FX section that includes six separate distortions, a bitcrusher, two delays, reverb, and three modulation effects. Not to mention its headphone output, 32-step sequencer and onboard storage for up to 254 presets.
