Earthquaker Hoof Fuzz V1 – Used

This Earthquaker Hoof Fuzz is in good condition. It has some scratches and dings in the casing and it was just serviced by Earthquaker who installed a new switch.

The Hoof began life as a take on the Russian Big Muff. With each vintage unit having wildly different sounds, Jamie Stillman set out to copy the sound he heard from his friend, Dan Auerbach’s Big Muff.

He settled on a germanium/silicon hybrid circuit and matched transisters, to retain the low end most fuzz pedals lose. And began selling them on eBay.

With a boost of sales after a video of the Black Keys using the Hoof made it to the internet, the Hoof quickly became one of the most sought after Fuzz pedals.
