The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 1×12 speaker cabinet aesthetically complements Fender’s long running Hot Rod Deluxe combo, but can be run with any single 8-ohm out.
This closed back cabinet features a Celestion G12P-80 speaker for accentuated bass response and tailored highs. If you were to run it with a Hot Rod or Blues Deluxe, rather than turn up the Hot Rod Deluxe to fill the room, you could keep the amp down and mic the extension cabinet for an isolated signal. With a head, it sounds close to a modern Marshall 4×12 in a small box.
