It has since gone on to become one of the most recognizable bass guitars in music history. Modeled after those Original Hofner Violin Basses, the Hofner HCT500/1 Contemporary was their modern version with all your favorite classic features. This HCT500/1 has had the control panel changed to the “German Style” and comes in their classic Sunburst from the original owner.
