The Ibanez EHB1265MS 5-string multi-scale bass combines headless construction, ergonomic design and a chambered body into a lightweight and comfortable instrument thats ideal for long sets or practice sessions. The 9-piece panga panga/walnut neck provides improved note attack and tight lows, while the graphite reinforcement rods deliver massive sustain and stability. Ensure precise lows and mid-ranges and a sharp high end with the panga panga fingerboard, topped with 24 medium stainless-steel frets. Make a visual and sonic statement with the lush wood grain of the walnut top and rich brightness of the ash body.

Its sound is driven by a set of Bartolini BH2 pickups, which provide a tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range and smooth response. The dual-coil style configuration maximizes articulation, and a long blade pole piece widens the magnetic field, providing balanced string-to-string pickup response. The EQ bypass control offers precision tonal adjustments, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypass is activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit. Customize your sound further with the Vari-mid 3-band EQ, featuring a variable mid-frequency control which allows you to dial in a wide range of sounds. The MR5HS bridge is designed specially for EHB basses and features a wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independently and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer, and the saddles are adjustable for string spacing +/-1.5mm. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for a smooth tuning action. Additional appointments include Ibanez custom headpieces to set and release strings, Schaller S-Lock strap pins, a slanted body at the back, comfortably rounded body edge and detachable finger ramp. Comes with a specially designed Ibanez gig bag.
