Martin 000-X2E Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Brazilian w/Softshell Case

The remastered Martin X Series is made to provide players an opportunity to achieve that Martin sound, while boasting the use of sustainable materials. The acoustic-electric Martin 000-X2E features the use of high-pressure laminate (HPL) in its construction, and combines durability with the classic Martin tone through Martin’s spec and material choices.

The Martin 000-X2E features a 000-14 body with a spruce top and Brazilian rosewood HPL back and sides, a composite material found through most X-Series models that is sustainably sourced/produced, and contributes to a guitar that is highly resistant to environmental factors such as seasonal weather changes, temperature and humidity. This material is visually complemented by a hand-rubbed satin finish. The 000-14 Fret body shape provides a comfortable canvas for players, and is topped with a beautiful, teardrop-shaped tortoise pickguard. The 000-X2E also features scalloped X-bracing, a bracing style used across Martin’s acoustic instruments from their top-of-the-line Custom Shop guitars to their student lines, highlighting their belief that any guitar can sound good if the correct components are used.

Built with a select hardwood neck and a dot-inlaid, select hardwood fingerboard, the 000-X2E features a PA neck profile with a high-performance taper. Its 24.9″ scale length and mortise & tenon neck joint make an extremely secure, artisan-style connection between neck and body, and the fingerboard measures 1.75”width at the nut.

Equipped with Martin E-1 electronics, the 000-X2E offers the opportunity for versatile plugged-in performances. The control features include a volume, tone, and phase control and an onboard chromatic tuner for tuning without the need for any external devices.
