The Martin GPC-X2E Rosewood is an acoustic-electric guitar built with the intention of being playable, affordable, and durable for players of all experience levels. This guitar is a successor to the Martin GPCX1RAE, and presents some improvements over the prior model.
The GPC-X2E features a single cutaway grand performance body. The body combines a top crafted from Sitka spruce with high-pressure laminate back and sides. The high-pressure laminate is designed to resemble rosewood, providing an aesthetically pleasing look while maintaining durability and affordability.
The neck of the GPC-X2E features a Performing Artist profile, and offers a total scale length of 25.4-inches. The fingerboard and bridge are made from select hardwood, and the nut is made from white corian.
The GPC-X2E comes equipped with Fishman MX electronics, which users to amplify the guitars sound for playing in performance settings. This system effectively translates the acoustic tones of the guitar, replicating it in a high-fidelity fashion.
