Built in Nashville, TN by Zach Broyles and his team of tone-hounds, Mythos is known for creating one-of-a-kind effects that serve specific purposes. Their Herculean Overdrive Pedal is no exception: a fusion of two revolutionary drive circuits combine to offer a versatile overdrive experience. On the left flank liesthe “Herculean” circuit, emulating high-end amplifier saturation. The right wing hosts the “Runestone” circuit, drawing inspiration from legendary Bluesbreaker pedals but reimagined with unparalleled transparency and an extended range of tones.
Externally, the Herculean boasts an array of controls, including an order toggle switch that allows users to choose the direction of signal flow through its two circuits. Internally, a clipping switch offers a choice of transformative clipping options to redefine the character of each drive. Moreover, the Runestone circuit features an internal presence trimmer, allowing for fine-tuning of the high-end frequencies to harmonize with any amp or guitar configuration.
