The Black Fountain from Old Blood Noise Endeavors is a take on “oil can” delays.
Three modes – Modern, Organ, and Vintage – are selected by a three-way mini toggle. According to OBNE, the Black Fountain is based off units such as the Fender Echo-Reverb and Tel-Ray Model 10.
The Modern mode – which isn’t necessarily modern by this decade – is a classic lo-fi delay with a fairly wide time range; the Vintage mode is similar in sound but with louder repeats. In the Organ mode, the Time and feedback controls become Rate and Depth controls for the modulation that you will hear in this very fun to play mode.
