The Ross Phaser is one of five new reissues in a big surprise by Josh Scott and JHS Pedals. Marketing and manufacturing has now been taken over by JHS in a partnership between Josh Scott and Cameron Ross, grandson of original Ross founder, Bud Ross.

Original Ross phasers are out there on the used market and not unaffordable, however these new Ross pedals are built to very high specifications – with upgraded soft touch bypass and lower noise than their vintage predecessors.

The Ross Phaser is a simple OTA-based phaser and is a recreation of the original Ross circuit. The left Rate knob controls the speed of the pedal, and the Recycle knob controls the amount of feedback from the phaser. There is an addition by JHS of a Phaser/Univibe mode selector on the side of the pedal. Univibe mode simulates the Shin-Ei circuit of the late-1960s.
