Taylor GTe Grand Theater, Urban Ash

The Grand Theater is a newly designed body shape that strikes a special balance between the GS Mini and Grand Concert. Like all other Taylors, the Grand Theater is exceptionally versatile, possible of creating serene highs and thunderous lows, despite its smaller body shape. Thanks to Taylor’s newly designed C Class internal bracing pattern, the Grand Theater body shape projects strongly while retaining all the tonal character and nuance one would expect from a Taylor. The GTe features a solid Spruce top with Urban Ash back and sides. This tonewood combination is paired with a Eucalyptus fingerboard for seamless playing from higher to lower registers. All of this majestic sound is captured with Taylor’s onboard Expression System 2 electronics system for easy translation from practice to performance. This innovative new acoustic formula from Taylor breaks new ground for an unbeatable new instrument.
